DRAWINGS ETCETERA

For me, drawing is critically important in forming ideas and creating some amount of clarity while searching for a particular form, and the meaning of that form, while still allowing for necessary revisions. Drawings will also be, at times in themselves, the necessary and only language needed in realizing an idea.

Shown here is a range of drawings that, for me, go through the entire spectrum from accidents to quick sketches to more finished drawings. Not included are the sometimes immediate markings and doodlings needed to quickly refine a part of an idea and are done on whatever surface or piece of paper that is at hand and usually later thrown out.
