workspace
This is where most of it happens, but not all.
the idea farm
This is where I let my mind wander, check my reactions, decide what to use or hold to consider later on, but not forget. I frequently refer back to the ideas not used.
draw
Drawing is for me a crucial tool. Notebooks, chalk and blackboard, crummy construction paper for immediate thoughts; more finished drawings for broader ideas and concepts which are often not directly related to a specific work.
fire
Showing one of the kilns in the garage where the firing occurs, loading, and the kiln at night close to completion.

construction site
A small sample of the process of making, I’m usually not interested in taking pictures during this part of the process unless there’s something specific that I want to record.
glaze
This is a slight hint of a process which is fairly dynamic while it happens

waiting, the Bardo
The in-between phase where the works have been formed or constructed, waiting to dry, which sometimes can take up to 2 or 3 weeks, until firing, glazing and further firing.
